The Best Apple Dip Ever

Be careful making this dip! You will soon learn why it is the best apple dip ever. We think the peanut butter and subtle hint of cinnamon keep us coming back for more.

On our family camping trips, we notoriously bring a lot of food. To be fair, we have twelve people at the campsites. One of the top foods on the list is this peanut butter apple dip.

When we make the dip, we don’t cut the apples until right before serving. We also serve the crushed peanuts in a separate container. The process of dipping is to scoop the dip on the apple and then press it into the container of peanuts. The peanuts stick on the end of the apple. You get the salty taste right before the sweetness of the dip hits your tongue.

I think it is the cinnamon and the brown sugar with the peanut butter that makes it so yummy.

Ingredients

Instructions

With a mixer, cream the cream cheese, peanut butter, vanilla, brown sugar, and cinnamon together in a bowl.

Place the peanuts in a zip-top bag. Seal, and hit with the back of a spoon until they are broken into pieces. Pour peanuts into a separate small bowl.

Slice the apples and serve.

If any apples remain, toss them in lemon juice and refrigerate. Refrigerate any leftover dip. Place the peanuts in a zip-top bag for storage.
